myDegree is an app prototype developed in collaboration with fellow Bowling Green State University design students. The app simplifies the degree scheduling process for college students by providing an easy-to-use platform where they can access their degree audit report, view recommended classes, and contact academic and financial advisors for further assistance. The goal was to create a streamlined and intuitive experience to help students track their progress and plan their academic journey with minimal confusion.

Skills
The design of myDegree centered around creating a seamless and accessible user experience. From the start, our team conducted extensive user testing with students across campus to ensure the app felt intuitive, responsive, and genuinely met their academic needs. Feedback directly shaped the interface, helping us refine layouts, prioritize key features, and improve flow. We built the prototype in Figma, carefully balancing functionality with visual clarity to help students feel confident and in control of their academic path.

Prototyping, Figma
Within our prototype, I designed the homepage to offer a clear, welcoming layout with direct access to key features. I also developed the professor and course summary sections to present essential info, like teaching style and workload, in a format that’s easy to scan. Lastly, I crafted the recommended classes section to be visually intuitive, helping users make informed decisions at a glance.
